You've installed the software and you are right clicking on an mp3 for the very first time. You see the "Convert mp3(s) to wave(s)…" menu item and you left click it but nothing happens. You may have run into a relatively rare problem where certain system components relating to the rich edit dll are not available. You may verify that you have this problem by going to Start, followed by Run… Type 'wordpad' and press OK.
If Wordpad does not launch then you might have this problem. To fix the problem you should go to Start, followed by Settings, followed by Control Panels. Double click the Add/Remove control panel and select the Windows Setup tab. Select and highlite Accessories and then press Details. Scroll down to the bottom and make sure Word Pad is checked. Check it if its not and then press OK, followed by another OK. You may be asked to put your Windows CD in and/or restart.
