Make sure you have version 1.19 or greater. Also, if you are using WinNT or Win2k, please make sure you are installing the software in Administrator mode in order to get the file associations set up correct. (…)

On Win2k…
1. Double click "My Computer".
2. Select "Folder Options" from the "Tool" menu
3. Click on the "File Types" tab.

If you are using Netscape to download the installation and WinAmp keeps trying to play the installation file, you should try using Internet Explorer to download the installation.

Depending on the mp3 player you have, you may see the "Convert mp3(s) to wave(s)…" menu even if you aren't right clicking on a .mp3. I won't go into the gorey details, but you'll want to be able to see file extensions to know for sure if a file is an mp3 or not. You need to see the actual .mp3 extension to know that it is an mp3 file. Sometimes, people will try to convert .rm,.ra,.asf,.wsm, and many others. So how do you see what extension it is? (…)
- I see the right click menu, but it doesn't do anything!
You've installed the software and you are right clicking on an mp3 for the very first time. You see the "Convert mp3(s) to wave(s)…" menu item and you left click it but nothing happens. You may have run into a relatively rare problem where certain system components relating to the rich edit dll are not available. (…)
- Can I run it via the command line for batch files, etc?
Yes you can! You can launch it via the command line like this :
mp3towave -C "pathtomp3"
Note that it needs the quotes around the path to the mp3 and the c needs to be a capital C. Of course, the mp3 to wave executable directory must be in your path variable or you must put the explicit path to the executable in the command line call. - I have not received my registration code! Isn't it about time!
Do not panic! In many cases, there may be a processing delay. Sometimes, people have supplied the wrong email address. In rare cases, the registered users are unreachable due to mis-configured email clients or privacy control.
